We have teams for ages 5+ and all abilities (beginning thru advanced). In fact, some of our teams do not even require past cheer experience.
Our all star competition cheer season is a 1-year commitment (mid-May thru April). The 1st half of the season (mid-May-Oct) is training (twice/week team practices). The 2nd half of the season (Nov-Apr) is the normal twice/wek practices, elite level teams will also have weekend practices (schedule to be determined by the end of summer) plus 6-8 weekend competitions (Saturday and/or Sunday).
