MEGAN:

Coach Megan grew up in Carlsbad cheering for Pop Warner, Carlsbad High School, and California Allstars.  During college, Megan continued pursuing her passion for cheer through coaching for Carlsbad High School.  In 2004, Megan graduated the University of San Diego and began work in the Commercial Insurance and Financial Services Industries while continuing to coach at Marian Catholic and La Jolla Country Day School.  In 2009, Megan began Cheer SD in Kearny Mesa.  Megan's vision for her gym over the past five seasons has been one that focuses on the journey, not just the prize; the development of strong, confident leaders who work well as a team is paramount.  Megan’s programs have encouraged open communication, individual attention, positive attitudes, dedication to accomplishing common goals, good sportsmanship, and mutual respect between athletes and coaches. CSD’s vision paid off with 7 National Titles and multiple Silver and Bronze Titles over the past few years!  Megan is excited to bring her “Small Gym, Big Heart” mentality to CheerForce San Diego West, while also taking the next step in becoming a highly competitive force in the All Star Industry!  When Coach Megan is not at the gym, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons (Risdon, age 3 and William, age 8), and dog (Remy, age 2).
